Isopods are fascinating little crustaceans that act as nature’s clean-up crew. They thrive in bioactive enclosures and enjoy damp environments filled with leaf litter and hiding spots. Easy to care for and endlessly interesting to observe, isopods are a brilliant way to bring a miniature ecosystem into your home.
Lifespan: 1-5 years (depending on species)
Size: Up to 1in (2.5cm)
Activity: Mostly nocturnal.
Sociability: Thrive in colonies

- Plastic or glass terrarium with ventilation
- Secure lid
- Floor space more important than height
- Keep away from direct sunlight and heat sources
